Powitania - I found this new Forum as well...
Ger Nijkamp - 2007-10-07, 12:42 Temat postu: I found this new Forum as well... Hi all,
after all I got registered to this Polish forum as well. I was registered in the former version but it was a bit difficult to get registered on this one as well since I do not understand the Polish language. Anyway, good to be back on track.
As you probably know I host the most polular Dacia Logan MCV site in The Netherlands. When I have publications that also may be interesting for you I will mention them on this forum. Although in Dutch, I asume the site may be interesting for you as well (tons of international links and photo's):

Hello Ger,
Nice to see you on our new forum.
Ger, just in case of possible problems with Polish - here's a good online dictionary:
http://szukaj.wp.pl/szuka...ukaj=Szukaj&z=e
Although it's not a translator like babelfish or google (which do not support Polish), you may find it quite useful.
To Marcin / Kratylos
Could you please move this thread to "Powitania" section ?

Hello Ger, nice to see You.
Very nice site. There is a lot of technical information. But unfortunately I found the same problem as on other sites. It is diameter of rear drum-breaks. On Your site in Dutch [that I completely don't understand ] it is 8" and in English 9". So, may be You know if it is some kind of mistake or maybe there is two types of rear brakes in MCV.
PS.
Sorry for my English - I haven't been using it for ages...

Andrzej, congratulations..! The data is coming from the Dutch Dacia brochure and this translation is full of errors. You discivered just another one... In all other references it is 9" so I'll guess the 8" is an error as well. I already corrected it on the site (although the official Dutch Dacia pages still mention 8").
Sorry for my Polish - I haven't been using it all my life...

Oops... The matter is a bit more complicated that I thought. The German site mentions 8" as well. But the Spanish data speaks about 9". This is weird...
I'm writing a short article about it in te hope to sort this out...

Oh don’t worry, Your Polish is quite OK .
But, have You found something more about the brakes???
Sebastian25 - 2007-10-09, 20:10
Hi! Ger your site it's cool...
Ger Nijkamp - 2007-10-09, 20:50
Okay, here's the article about the different breaksizes including all reactions (and even photos):
http://www.dacialoganmcv.nl/?p=767
Conclusion: the rear brakes of the Dacia Logan MCV are 9". The rear breaks of the Dacia Logan Sedan are 8". Sombody at Dacia's has mixed up things really bad (check all international links in the article)...

Nice to see our forum going international ;)
Ger, we'll have our own website alongside this forum soon, at daciaklub.pl Cheers.
Ger Nijkamp - 2007-10-09, 21:20
Actually, we do have a forum. 'Startpagina' is the largest forum- and link-page provider in The Netherlands. We co-operate on the Dacia-topics. The actual forum can be found here:
http://www.prikpagina.nl/list.php?f=2350
And it's great to hear Poland will have a real Dacia-website as well..!
