The first country in the world to launch the new Dacia Sandero is The Netherlands. Next weekend, on sunday 25th of May, the Dacia Sandero will be presented to the Dutch public at the third Dutch Dacia Meeting. This is even before the official Romanian launch and therefore unique.



Over the past year, The Dutch Dacia Meeting has become the largest Dacia event in the world. This third editon every single Dacia owner in The Netherlands has received a personal invitation by mail. At least 150 Dacia's -still counting- including their owners, family and friends will attent. The Dutch Dacia Meeting is a initiative of www.dacialoganmcv.nl .



During the event there will be music from the Dutch group 'Alderliefste' and there is also a soccer tournament with former international Richard Witschge (he played for the Dutch national team, Ajax and F.C. Barcelona). Dacia-owners can have their car cleaned by a professional team and there will be free drinks and barbeque for everyone. But, of course, the main event that day will be the first launch of the Dacia Sandero..!

It's actually a quite unique situation. The (private) website www.dacialoganmcv.nl has initiated the event, and Dacia The Netherlands participates.

Well, I guess I'm responsible for gathering the largest amount of Dacia's ever in the world...



Yesterday, on the 25th of May, a total of 550 Dacia's and over 2.000 Daciastics came together at the third Dutch Dacia Meeting.

And I had the honour of driving the first Dacia Sandero to the spot where it was presented. This was such a wonderfull day, simply unbelievable..!

No, there wasn't anybody from Poland. I saw some Germans and people from Belgium. But I didn't really 'advertise' to be an international meeting, because we knew it would already be hard to store al the Dutch Dacia's...



The World Book Of Records is concidered, however it was a too short notice to organize. Nevertheless, Dacia is looking into it.
